In-Company
training provides you with a flexible training programme specifically designed
to meet your needs and training objectives.
With
over 32 years of experience in providing world class training, our focus is to
understand your people, your business issues and your training objectives before
we design and recommend the best solution for you.
From
your intial contact, one of our experienced Account Managers will work closely
with you and your business developing a partnership and understanding to ensure
our recommendations match exactly to your learning requirements.
From
the brief given and our understanding of your people and business, we will recommend
the best trainer to meet your needs. All of our trainers are specialists who have
a vast range of business specific experience enabling them to provide a highly
practical, relevant and readily applicable programme which your people will not
only enjoy, but be able to apply their learning immediately back in the workplace.
Testimonials from previous training will provide feedback on the trainer performance,
knowledge and delivery style.
Our
proposal details how we would approach your training needs, a course outline designed
to meet those needs, a profile and testimonials of the recommended trainer, costings
and terms and conditions.
Familiarisation:
To
deliver tailored solutions, our trainers will spend time getting to know you,
your company ethos, people, strategies and goals and products and culture. If
appropriate/beneficial, we may accompany or observe your people in their everyday
roles to understand processes, terminology, approach and current skill level.
We can carry out or facilitate a Training Needs Analysis if required.
Programme
Development:
From
this, we can design and develop tailored content, case studies, role plays and
exercises to make the training more readily applicable and relevant to the delegates
enabling them to immediately apply new skills on return to work.
Training
Style:
All
of Marcus Bohn's courses are structured around a highly interactive and totally
involving training style. Our trainers approach the task with empathy, drive and
determination. Open feedback and healthy challenge is encouraged. The presentational
style is: TELL, SHOW, DO:
Tell
- the delegates what has to be done, what's in it for them, why it has to
be done and the best way of doing it
Show
- the delegates how to make what they are currently doing even better. They
are shown the thinking behind how to do this on the basis that if they understand
the principles, how to apply them in practical terms makes sense
Do
- allow them to practice, helping them to fully appreciate what they already
do well, plus giving motivational constructive feedback to show delegates how
to take the next steps in developing their performance
Personal
Action Plans:
Every
delegate commits to at least 3 specific objectives to improve their performance
and approach on return to work. These are then available to be discussed in debriefs
with Managers and to link to ongoing coaching.
Coaching:
One
of the most important, yet under-valued aspects of ensuring positive change through
training is ongoing support and coaching on return to work. Marcus Bohn can provide
this support or run coaching workshops for Managers/Supervisors to ensure that
the changes and skills learnt through training is capitalised on.
Feedback:
All
delegates complete feedback forms at the end of training. These are presented
back to the client in a synopsis to link to ongoing coaching and support as well
as identifying future training needs. Marcus Bohn continually assesses delegate
feedback to improve the quality and content of our training.
