Overview This
Management Skills programme is designed to get the delegates thinking about the
differences between leadership and management and the qualities needed to be successful
at both. It
addresses the issue of maintaining a successful balance between achieving tasks,
developing individuals and building effective teams, and the actions needed to
achieve this. It looks at the advantages and disadvantages of group and individual
decision making, and highlights key techniques for successful decision making. Coaching
and training is essential to improve the performance of your team, this programme
identifies different learning styles and shows how to adapt our approach to achieve
outstanding results. The
course includes a range of exercises and techniques, which are used to help the
delegates approach real problems or situations they face with a fresh eye. The
theory of rational and intuitive decision making is discussed and then applied
in roleplay exercise. Strategies for coping with pressure and maintaining professionalism
in stressful situations are debated and put in to practice. This
is an intensive programme designed to cover the core skills of management including;
achieving results through people, leadership, building successful teams, communication
skills, coaching, change and personal organisation.
